Small,low heat, perfect amount of light.

This light is perfect for a small grow area. I have owned larger lights and I must say this is perfect for the small and compact size. The heat levels are the lowest of all hps lights and my plants are loving it 1 foot away.

These are fantastic lighting systems! They are extremely well-built, compact, and efficient- perfect for smaller gardens. Just plug them in and turn them on.
They are particularly effective when used in pairs, and since they don't produce nearly as much heat as higher wattage lamps, can be placed much closer to the tops of the plants (giving two point-sources of light where you would otherwise have only one). The bulbs (included) have a life of ~24,000 hrs, and are very inexpensive to replace.
Again, the build quality is top notch, the kind I would expect at twice the price. You just can't go wrong with a set of these lamps.
