The BAASP receptacle adapts a Sunlight ballast to a "Hydrofarm" fixture/cord set.

This cord is used if you have a Hydrofarm Reflector and don't have a Hydrofarm Ballast.

If you have a Lumatek Ballast by Hydrofarm, you do not need this cord. If you have a Lumatek Ballast by Sunlight Supply or BWGS, then you will need this cord if you have a Hydrofarm Reflector.
